Julia M Reeves Julia M. Reeves concentrates her practice on professional liability defense, business litigation and personal injury with a focus on wrongful death and elder abuse. Additionally, she practices in the areas of civil rights with a focus on police abuse.

Ms. Reeves obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego in 2002. In 2005, she earned her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she was a recipient of the Emery Merit Scholarship. During law school, she served as an Associate Editor of Santa Clara University's law school newspaper, The Advocate and received the "Best Written Brief" award in Appellate Advocacy. Additionally, she volunteered as a student advisor at the Katharine and George Alexander Community Law Center (formerly East San Jose Community Law Center).

Ms. Reeves began her practice as an associate at Lonich & Patton, LLP in San Jose, California where she worked on complex construction defect, consumer litigation and business litigation issues. She joined Hansen, Kohls, Jones, Sommer & Jacob, LLP as an associate in November 2008.

In addition to state court, Ms. Reeves is admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California. She is also a member of the Sacramento and Placer County bar associations.
