Shannon L. Knorr engages in a civil litigation practice emphasizing professional malpractice defense and business litigation, defense of attorneys, insurance brokers and agents, and defense of insurance bad faith lawsuits.
Prior to joining Hansen Kohls Sommer and Jacob, LLP, Ms. Knorr gained extensive litigation experience in personal injury defense, medical malpractice defense, and employment law, while representing businesses and health care practitioners throughout Northern California.
In 2014, Ms. Knorr graduated with distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate, and was inducted into the Roger J. Traynor Honor Society. Ms. Knorr received certificates in Trial Advocacy and Alternative Dispute Resolution during her tenure at McGeorge. Ms. Knorr graduated with honors from Santa Clara University in earning a B.S. in Anthropology with an emphasis in and Law and Society.
Ms. Knorr is admitted to practice law in California and Arizona. She is member of the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Arizona, the Sacramento County Bar Association, and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada.
